Materials We Install

- Luxury vinyl plank (LVP)
- Tile: floors, kitchens, baths, and entries
- Transitions, thresholds, and shoe molding
- Subfloor repair and leveling
- No carpet
The Subfloor Decides How the Floor Performs
The material you pick is the part you see. The prep underneath it is the part you live with. A floor laid over a wavy, squeaky, or damp subfloor telegraphs every one of those problems through the new surface within a year. So the job starts below the finish: checking flatness, fastening what moves, and dealing with moisture where concrete is involved. That work is invisible on day one and it is the reason the floor still feels tight years later.
Standalone Job or Part of a Remodel
Flooring anchors most of our kitchen, basement, and bathroom projects, where it gets sequenced with the other trades. It also works as a standalone job: one room, a whole first floor, or replacing worn wall-to-wall with something you can actually clean. Either way the estimate names the material, the prep, and the price per area, in writing.
Flooring Questions
Hardwood or luxury vinyl plank?
Hardwood is the real thing: it can be sanded and refinished, and it adds value buyers recognize. LVP costs less, shrugs off water, and makes sense in kitchens, basements, and houses with dogs and kids. The answer depends on the room, the subfloor, and how the house gets used, and we will tell you at the walkthrough.
Can you install over the existing floor?
Sometimes. It depends on what is down now, how flat it is, and the height of the transitions to the rooms around it. When tearing out is the right call, we say so, because a floor installed over a bad base fails no matter how good the material is.
Can you fix squeaks and soft spots while you are at it?
Yes. With the old floor up, the subfloor is exposed, and that is the time to screw down squeaks, replace soft sections, and level low spots. It costs far less to fix then than after the new floor is down.
Do you install carpet?
No. We install hardwood, luxury vinyl plank, and tile. If carpet is the right product for your room, we will tell you, but it is not a service we offer.
